These terms govern your use of The Big HVAC Directory (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
What we are
The Big HVAC Directory is a directory that helps homeowners find HVAC professionals. We are not a contractor and do not perform, manage, or guarantee any work. Listed businesses are independent third parties. Any agreement for services is strictly between you and the contractor.
Listings and license information
Many listings are built from public records, including the Florida DBPR licensing registry, and are shown as recorded. License and verification details are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement or a guarantee of a contractor’s qualifications, licensing status, insurance, or work quality. Always verify a contractor’s credentials directly before hiring.
Quote requests
When you submit a quote request, you authorize us to share your request details with the relevant contractor(s) so they can respond. We do not control whether, when, or how a contractor responds, and we are not a party to any resulting transaction.
Contractor accounts & claims
If you claim or manage a listing, you represent that you are authorized to act for that business, and that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for your account and the content you publish. We may suspend or remove accounts or listings that violate these terms or applicable law.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Service: no scraping or bulk data extraction, no fraudulent or deceptive activity, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access, and no posting of unlawful, infringing, or misleading content.
Paid features
Some features are offered on paid plans. Fees, billing cycles, and what’s included are shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Unless stated otherwise, paid plans renew until cancelled.
Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Big HVAC Directory is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts, omissions, or work of any listed contractor.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
